How to publish Instagram and Facebook Reels from Clipini (prerequisites guide)

Facebook Page, linked professional Instagram, premium Clipini: connect destinations and share clips without re-uploading. TikTok and YouTube use the same model.

Generating vertical clips is only half the job—you still need to publish where people scroll. Clipini lets you share a clip (or promo video) to Instagram Reels and a Facebook Page from the project page, without re-downloading the file.

This guide covers Meta prerequisites (the usual point of confusion), connecting accounts in Account, then the Share flow. TikTok and YouTube Shorts follow the same “connected destinations” model; Meta is documented first because it is live in production.

Important: signing into Clipini (Google or email) is not the same as connecting Facebook/Instagram to publish. Clipini identity stays on Firebase; social networks use a separate OAuth flow for premium users.

What Clipini Share does

From a project (generated clips) or a promo video, Share opens a modal: write a caption, tick linked destinations, publish. Clipini sends the stored video to the official Instagram and Facebook Reels APIs.

Successful shares increment usage stats. Status appears in the modal (publishing, View post, or error / reconnect).

Meta prerequisites: Facebook Page + linked Pro Instagram

Meta’s API does not publish Reels to a classic personal Facebook profile. Clipini publishes to a Facebook Page and/or a professional Instagram account (Creator or Business) linked to that Page.

Personal Instagram only is not enough—convert to Pro and link it to a Page you manage. A Page without Instagram can still receive Facebook posts; Instagram without a linked Page will not appear correctly in the Facebook Login + Graph flow.

Your Facebook user must be able to create content on the Page. Personal Facebook login is only for authorization; publishing targets the Page and/or linked IG Pro.

Connect in Account, then Share from a project

Account → Social → Connect Facebook / Instagram. In Meta’s dialog, select business (if asked), Pages, and the Instagram account—tick IG explicitly. Back in Clipini, save the destinations you want.

Open a project → Share → caption → tick Instagram and/or Facebook → Publish. Instagram may stay on “Publishing…” longer than Facebook while the media container processes.

TikTok and YouTube Shorts

Same pattern: connect a destination in Account, then tick it in Share. Prepare a TikTok creator/business account eligible for posting APIs and a YouTube channel you own. Until they show up in your Account UI, focus on Instagram + Facebook Page.

FAQ

Can I publish to my personal Facebook profile?

Not through the API Clipini uses. You need a Facebook Page. Your personal login only authorizes the app.

Creator or Business Instagram?

Both are professional. What matters is Pro status + a linked Facebook Page.

When TikTok and YouTube?

Same UX when enabled on your account. This Meta guide still explains the destination → publish mental model.

Premium Clipini account, Facebook Page, Pro Instagram linked to that Page, OAuth in Account, then Share from the project.

Ready to connect? Open Account and link Facebook / Instagram.
